Highly portable and powerful. Can be used on metal, wood and glass (With proper belt). Will fit inside 1-1/2″ holes which makes it nice for cleaning up flame cut holes.Excellent to use instead of files.

Well made. Very handy to use. Every single part of this tool can be ordered and replaced if needed. Good selection of grit sizes available and you can slow it down to a crawl. What’s there not to like? Nothing!

Sanded worked directly out of the box. Was easy to handle due to light weight, good visibility of sanded area and allowed me to sand a curved box and maintain the desired shape.

This Belt Sander is an excellent tool in our Cabinet Shop. Each of the Carpenters has one on their tool cart and there is one sander in every one of the storage cabinets at the work islands. It is very handy for a wide range of uses where detail work is required such as, scribing and shaping cabinets an counters and oddly shaped projects where good workmanship is a must. The sander definitely saves us a lot of time and effort as well as improves the final result of our finished products.

Great quality all around hand tool. I use air belt sanders often but I have to have a compressor to power them this sander give me the ability to use it without having to have compressed air.

This sander is great. It removes material very easily and vary fast. I had used this sander before purchasing and had great results, so I bought it. My only concern is that there is a little non-adjustable pin that keeps the wheel locked in its position as it rotates. Mine seems to be a little loose, so the sander makes a small humming noise that the previous sander I used did not make. I think quality control may have let one slip by!

This is a lightweight sander that I originally bought for a tight spot between two columns. It works great, belts are easy to change and I have used it on many other projects.

Another awesome Makita tool. Variable speed works like it should. The tip is fully useable, the tool is well balanced, weight is easy to handle for hours on end, noise is medium. The handle seemed odd at first but quickly made sense. It kicks up a tremendous amount of dust and I have not tried the vacuum attachment, I did build a sanding booth. Changing belts is super easy and the belts last longer than I expected. It’s super tool for working a curved surface. I’ve used it about a month for 40-50 hours.

I will admit for the price I was hesitent. But know after really giving this bert sander a hard days work, belt changes are quick and easy, using the sander forward and back and side to side, just flawless operation. The adjustment speed of the belt is very controlable, and I do like to use it with and without the handle.

All around great tool. First one I had was stolen, second lost in Norcal wildfire. Had to replace. So many uses, too many to list, and dust port is essential.

1-1/8 IN. X 21 IN. BELT SANDER works great. Had one before. Be careful not to drop. They break relatively easy. Other than that, it is a nice tool.
