Ample power, on off switch is very stiff and difficult to move. I consider it a design flaw. Otherwise a good tool.

I liked this grinder a lot. I chose it because the amp draw was reasonable. This product is more than adequate for the average jobs a homeowner might have.

A very good product with great customer service.

I love this size grinder. Small enough to do some fine grinding but big enough to do anything on the job. Must have for a handyman

does what its supposed to – but hard to figure out unless you have used it before..

Probably the best little grinder for one handed operation, this is my second makita, I have done some heavy duty grinding with it and makita is far better than them cheap $20 grinders you can buy

The switch is problematic. I bought this to replace ano one with a broken switch. Makita hasn’t redesigned it. Hard to push to the on position. Strong machine, a good value for money, otherwise.

I picked up this grinder to cut some flagstone I had purchased through a third party. I had to purchase an additional wheel (Ridgid Diamond) because obviously the wheel it came with wasn’t for cutting stone. It works really well. The only issue I have with the grinder is the switch. It’s a little tough switching it on but I believe that’s due to safety concerns. Other than that, it works great. I’ve used it now for about 2 weeks off and on. Great tool to have around for many projects.

On/off switch is tough to use. I found it difficult to turn on and way too easy to accidentally shut off. Wish I bought a different model

Works good, no problems

Small in size quick in cutting I like the function of if good price.

I only used it about 10 times and it work good. It doesn’t get stuck like lower power angle cutters. the cord is softer and it doesn’t twist like cheaper brand.

This is a tough grinder and I put it through the test while grinding bumper brackets and bolts off an old truck in every angle imaginable. It was a tough job but nothing else could do it because the bolts and nuts were rusted and in a very difficult position to get to them.

This is an awesome grinder!I had used a porter cable angle grinder for a few years around the house and the brushes needed replaced. I ordered another Porter cable grinder (online) took it out of the box and it literally went up in smoke in less than 10 minutes in the middle of my project.I needed to finish so I walked into home depot and picked this up.I am so happy I did So very very smooth with no vibration compared to the Porter Cable units.I am using to grind floors with a 4 1/2″ Dewalt diamond grinding cup and a dust collector attachment. The only thing is when grinding floors I wish the body was a little longer and thicker. I have big hands and this kinda feels like a kids toy. But it works great. The slide switch is really easy to use. I am not sure why people have mentioned having trouble getting it to lock on. I had a pc unit that had a paddle switch,,, Ughh – never again . I hate the paddle switch.
