The Makita 4-1/2 in. Angle Grinder has a 7.5 Amp, 11,000 RPM motor that is powerful enough for heavy, professional-grinding applications. With the AC/DC switch, you can use alternative power sources, as well as lock the tool on and off via the switch for continuous, comfortable operation during extended periods of time.

Great little angle grinder. Small enough to get into tight places but the 7.5 amp motor doesn’t bog down when you really lean into it. I’ve got an older version with the regular trigger that I’ve used for over 20 years. Makita is a solid brand. And for about $65 and pocket change this new one will probably out live me.

This is my new favorite angle grinder. It has tons or power and the motor runs so smoothly. The paddle switch is much better than the side mounted side switches and much safer. Only thing I would change is the Phillips head screw on the wheel guard to either a spring loaded clamp or a torx bit so.
