The angle grinder is tough and did a good job when using dimabrush wheels to remove Olympic rescue deck finish. However the power cord came undone from the wiring after only four hours of use . I needed to get the job done so I wrapped the cord with electrical tape and then duct tape.

I used this tool to cut porcelain tile (with a diamond blade). It cut tile like butter! The Makita states that it can be used for cutting tile. The Makita has adequate speed and power and features to protect and preserve the motor for long life. It is easy to use with some sensible safety features. This Mikita did not come with any blades or grinding wheels. It also recommends use of a special wheel guard with diamond wheels (not included and that notice was buried in the user instructions).

Love this grinder, been using mine heavily for almost 2 years. Never shows signs of giving out. Only thing I’m not a fan off is the trigger, would rather have a switch. All in all I’d buy it again.
