Awesome!!! I used it doing live edge head boards put on a 36 grit and worked it like a rasp at slow speeds. Later using it to plane the face with different grits smoothing it for finish. First Makita for me definitely will buy more of Makita tools. It has power, variable speed, and 16 foot cord!!

Bought this sander to replace a 20 year old sander that gave up. I needed it for the second step in leveling off a natural edge cabinet top (see picture). Worked great with 60, 80, 100 grit.
