Makita Deep Well Impact Sockets are the perfect accessory for a high torque impact wrench when taking on demanding applications like driving large lags through support beams, setting anchors, and removing stuck weather-rusted nuts. Makita Deep Well Impact Sockets are constructed with Chromium-Molybdenum Steel (CR-MO) and black oxide coated for longer life. The sockets have a 3-3/16 in. length for longer reach and the ability to fasten over longer threads. I use it for lug nuts and brake calipers. Works great

Have used and appreciated Mikita tools for many years. This is a fine impact for its size and the only thing I’ve noticed is the reverse switch is a bit low in the hand and easily bumped. Would recommend to a friend.

Bought this back in February and I am extremely pleased with it. Plenty of power and small and compact. BYE Breaker bar for lug nuts on any vehicle.

The case was much bigger and heavier than I thought. I was going to buy a separate tool box for all my impact accessories but this one will stay in its own case. Visually checking, the sockets appear very well made, and well marked. I have only used 3 sockets so far. I have both a Makita battery powered impact driver and an air impact driver. The air impact tool will eventually end up in the back of my tool supply as I really like the battery driver and it has plenty of power and no hose or cord. I’m really happy with this purchase.

Worked great for taking wheels off of my Corvette so I could clean them… I like the small size and light weight, that came in handy when I used this gun to drive 3 Inch lag bolt while building a porch deck. I like that is has 3 levels of power.I would recommend this tool to a friend…

This impact is more than capable of removing lug nuts and other suspension components including rusted axle ubolts on a 1-ton diesel truck. The different torque settings also seem pretty accurate as I was able to verify by only needing a little turn of the torque wrench to finish bolts.

Bad to the bone!! Rips lug nuts off 18 wheelers like a twister rips a single wide off its blocks. More torque than a twin turboed cummins turbo diesel and more horsepower than a Boeing 747. Should be at least 6’ and 200 lbs to even try an operate this little beast. Buy 1!!

Actually the best to everyone should have that

Works good with all 4 speeds and the battery last a long time used it all day and it still had a little life at the end of day.

Like most Makita tools it’s well made with good ergonomics. I had been wanting to add an impact to my cordless collection. Although I have a pneumatic impact, the cordless version of everything really is so much handier than a corded anything. I bought this one as the larger one is really too much for my needs 99% of the time. Lugnuts, for instance, shouldn’t be over torqued and I always use a torque wrench on the reinstall because of today’s aluminum wheels. But this zips them right off even on larger 3/4 ton trucks as its 210lb rating gets it done. You may need 210 to back a rusted lugnut off but again not that much on an install. So far the only thing I’ve used it for is replacing the sway bar links on an older fullsize 4WD truck. So the parts were quite rusty. It zipped the nuts off and backed them off the last thread slowly with its sensor so it doesn’t spin the fastener across the shop floor once it’s loose. In fact, I knew the little wrench worked hard because it hit nearly the entire time and the nut was so hot I couldn’t touch it. The small size helped get into the space available. If you work on larger 1.5+ ton trucks or tractors/implements etc the larger impact might be needed, but for me this one was a better choice given my needs. The power, size, weight etc. are extremely useful. It has a battery indicator that is handy if you have the older batteries without the charge gauge. It also has 3 speeds I’m told it’s 59lbs, 129 ft lbs and 210. I have a Makita impact driver, but for something like lag bolts this would probably be better and is barely any larger. HD as always was a quick shipper. Happy adding this to my other Makita tools.
