I was in the market for a power bank and all the ones available weren’t cutting it. Hated when it they die and you have to wait for it to recharge. I wanted something I could use all day and not have to wait for a recharge. I wanted to be able to grab and go at any moment. I came across these adapters, and did my research and my choices were Makita, Milwaukee and Ridgid since I have those batteries. Right off the bat I knew the Milwaukee was out of the question with a price of $29 i didnt see the point in spending the extra money when it did the same thing the other two, even if it was a slimmer design. So I tried Ridgid which was $22 because it was thinner than all 3 and more compact. My problem with it was it when needing a larger power source for all day use, the Ridgid 4ah batter was a bulkier and heavier than the Makita 5ah and having only 1 port which turned out to be an issue after all, so I returned it. So I went with the Makita and I’m glad I did, it was the cheapest at $20 and you get 2 ports, a clear marked easy to use On/Off switch, rubber cover for the ports to keep them clean unlike the other two. Now it is a little bulkier than I like but I’ll live, the trade off is I get 2 ports for the price of 1, so I bought a 2nd adapter and now I can charge both my speakers, phone and ear phones at the same time. Sorry for the long winded story just wanted to share my experience and thoughts to help others who were kn the same boat as me.
