Purchase Makita 15a siding nailer for new home install of James Hardie siding. This is the best investment I could have made. Makita nailer is lightweight, super easy to load and depth adjust. Has not skipped a beat in two 3,000 round cases of 2 3/16 stainless siding nails.

This nailer is very balanced when working in hard places like on the roof or putting siding on while on the ladder. Great tool to have for all jobs.

Incredible gun. Very easy depth adjustment right on the gun. Has switch to switch from bump to single shot trigger. I have shot a few thousand stainless nails through the gun with out a jam. I own numerous nail guns and this one is by far the best. Exceptional siding gun.

The first siding nailer I purchased began to malfunction after a few hours of use. The driver started to stick on the reset. This delay got longer and longer until the nailer would only drive a few nails per minute. Wisely, I had purchased the nailer at the local Home Depot instead of online and was able to exchange it in a couple of hours and got back to work the next day. The new nailer is working flawlessly. By the way, if you buy a nailer, buy a swivel connector to use instead of the fixed stock connector. They are only 3 bucks and make the nailer much easier to use.

I opened this box at a fiber cement siding job and started using it for the first time. It was easy to use and worked great with no jambs. I was expecting a better flush nail setting but with the variables in wood hardness I was having to adjust the depth setting more than I would have liked.

I don’t do siding everyday or every other day, but when I have projects, this nail gun really comes in handy. After years of borrowing other peoples nail guns, and occasionally driving siding nails by hand (on small projects and repairs), I came across this unit in the store and I got it for a steal. This is a solid coil nailer by a well known and respected brand in the construction industry. It has worked well for me and continues to meet my expectations. I would purchase it again.
