I use it with a Makita impact driver. It magnetizes insert bits and holds the screws securely. I gave it 4 stars because you need to use quite an effort to remove the bit. If this is a problem people can buy a more expensive German made holder in which you pull the sleeve to push out the bit

Does what it is advertised to do very well but not an always on the drill accessory. one handed drilling, holds screw/fasteners in place extremely securely. Only down side I found was that using with my impact driver I couldn’t see how deep I was sinking the screws in, not good for deck constr.

I found the product to be strange in two regards. First, the green collar is confusing to use, or to figure out its purpose. Second, the holder’s shaft is unnecessarily long, putting the screw far ahead of the driver’s chuck. It could be that this extra length of the thin shaft is a part of some torsion absorbing function, but that is not clear, nor do I find it useful.Also, it seemed hard to place a bit in the holder, and it is hard to tell if the bit holder is two tight or is designed to require extra pressure to snap bits into place. It may be a feature designed to hold bits securely. However, inserting and removing bits is best done by removing the green collar.
