I like not having to mix oil and gas big plus noise about the same, the power is a little less but it works fine to blow snow off my new truck. My 2 stroke was stolen from garage have fun mixing fuel you crook.

Most awesome leaf blower ever! It’s inaugural use was on a yard blanketed by heavy, wet, leaves – too wet to even rake. It effortlessly swept them all into a nearby ravine in a fraction of the time it would have taken by raking. It has an effortless pull start and, because it has a 4 cycle engine, uses regular gas. If you hate taking leaves this unit is for you!

Easy to assemble, starts quickly and works well on dry or lighter materials. Had to order the longer cured tip kit for more typical mix of yard debris in my part of Texas.

Picked this up today. Added full synthetic 10w-30, fueled it with non-ethanol gas, then fired it up. The thing runs beautifully. Very quiet and smooth-sounding at idle. I watched some videos on YouTube in which this blower seemed to emit a lot of clatter at idle; mine absolutely does not. It revs very quickly up to wide open throttle, and blows leaves and debris very efficiently. Again, this blower is extremely quiet at idle; at w.o.t . it’s loud, of course, but it doesn’t “scream” like a 2-stroke does. I currently own a Stihl BG86 which is an extremely nice hand-held blower, but I’ve been looking for something a bit quieter in deference to my neighbors. I bought an Echo PB255LN, and it was quieter than the 86, but a bit anemic power-wise. The idea of a quality 4-stroke intrigued me, and since Honda doesn’t sell one in the U.S., I figured this was the next best option. I’m very pleased with it. One last thing: the specs on this blower are inferior to the Stihl, at least on paper; 145 mph vs 154 mph, and 356 cfm vs 444 cfm. So when I used it for the first time, I was not expecting it to perform as well as it did. I’m going to sell my Stihl and have no qualms about doing so. Also, pay no attention to complaints about the dipstick; it’s completely functional and a non-issue.

Love this leaf blower. This is second one; the first being purchased in 2009. The 2009 blower had 3 tiny screws fall out in area of pull chord and thereafter chord was pullling freely so engine would not start. Took apart and saw that swing arm was broken so ordered new one. Will take to Makita repair shop soon for repair as cannot figure out how to install. Definitely worth the money for anyone with a lot of leaves!

The only problem I have was that the tube keeps coming apart. It stays together at the end that joins the main body but where is two tubes join it comes apart when it runs on higher levels.

Only used several times since purchased, overall very satisfied. Very easy to start, much quieter than a 2 stroke blower, air output is compatible with a 2 stroke, highly recommend
