I’ve got a 4-stroke weed whacker that always runs. Thought I’d try a 4-stroke blower. Only have a few hours on it, but so far it’s great. The ergonomics of the throttle lock are not great and it should come with a shoulder strap or at least a way to connect a shoulder strap – going to have to fabricate some d-rings or the like.

Best Decision ever! It’s not just about the miles per hour it’s about the volume of air. Way better than the electric battery Garbage powered version…. The batteries don’t last that long…

This light weight hand held gas leaf blower works well. I’m impressed by how well it moves leaves to where I want them. Even wet leaves! Currently I’ve been using it to blow the snow from my vehicles. It works great for clearing light snow from vehicles. Doesn’t scratch the paint as a broom might. If you’re looking for a leaf blower, this is a pretty good one.

4 stroke! Nice! I really like the way this blower sounds. It reminds me of a Honda Elite scooter I had when I was growing up. It has a nice low rumble to it. But besides the way it sounds, it runs great. Nice and powerful. I have a backpack blower for big jobs, but wanted something smaller and lighter than I can fire right up for quick blowing around the yard. It is very light, and starts on the first pull. Very happy with it.

This is the best homeowner tool ever. the only thing it needs is a shoulder strap for us old dudes. It’s not that heavy but i just need the extra support.

So far no complaints! After adding oil and gas the Makita started right up! Weight is comparable to an older 4 stroke blower I had. The only knock I would have is that the OFF switch located on the handle is labeled strangely as STOP with and arrow going up and down. Also this switch is not spring loaded. Usually being of sound mind and body I occasionally forget to return it to the RUN position. Usually!

Excellent blower. Highly recommended. Relatively quiet, and no smoke. 4-stroke is very much worth the extra expense over 2-stroke. Best blower I have ever had. Started on the first pull.

This leaf blower was easy to start. It is a little on the heavy side for a 75 year old female but it is tolerable for short periods of time.

This is the Lexus of residential leaf blowers with an easy to start smooth running 4-stroke engine. Turned it off after about 20 minutes of hard use and restarted it effortlessly with one pull. But returned it to Home Depot, heartbroken because this high qualify machine has insufficient blowing power at 145 mph. Would gladly pay a premium if Makita increased the blowing power in this machine to 190-200 mph.
