Great grinder, this is the second time I’ve purchased one. However this time it only came with one guard. It came with the big one for the 5 inch wheel. Good thing I still had my old smaller guard because, unless I’m using a 5 inch wheel, that big o guard just gets in the way. And yes 99% of the time it’s “a must” to have the guard on the tool when I’m at work. Makita, you guys need to include the smaller guard as well. That’s why I only gave 3 stars. Other than that, great tool! I use it all the time
