Another great product from Makita. Nice light weight but still the power needed to do the job. Approaching 70 and still doing some electrical work above my head I didn’t have to lower my arm as I did with the 18 volt system and wasnt as tired at the end of the day.

I really like the 12 volt version of this tool. It is so light and maneuverable. I have several 12 volt Makita tools an I like all of them.

This is perfect for me. The size is comfortable in my hand and it’s easy to change from the drill bit sizes. I love having two so I can have a drill bit in one and a screw driver bit in the other. Then I’m always ready for any task at hand.

I got this on sale as a kit for $100 together. I was using this for things it was not meant for. I was driving three inch screws into wood. Although it is a driver, it is not made to do very many of these with the included batteries. I bought this solely to have a light weight compact drill and driver to use at the house. For this it is just what I wanted. It is not for construction work or any type of building where you need a lot of power over a long period of time. Like I said, it is for home use and with two batteries on hand I can keep going with what it is designed for. Don’t get me wrong, it will drive the three inch plus screws into wood, just not enough to build anything with. I think it was good deal at the price I paid for it and maybe even $20 or so more. I am happy.

It’s a really good drill, no hammer setting though. Impact is real sneaky and nice. 2 batteries a charger and a bag for $100 bucks. Cant beat it.

I needed to buy a charger. It was $54 and they were out of stock. So, I was looking for an alternative. The solution was to buy to this package that had the charger and also had two small batteries, a drill, an impact driver and a carrying bag. It was $129. I think this was as good solution. It seemed like better bang for the buck than buying the charger alone.

Love this set, upgraded from 15 year old heavy drill set. The smaller much lighter, more powerful unit is great. Purchased two of the bit sets and now everything is in the one bag.

As a low voltage tech who only uses a drill about 2-6 times a week these drills work great for me! Super lightweight on my tool belt when I am walking multi story buildings. Also great DIY set I take the impact with me to work and leave the drill at the house it’s light weight enough the family can use it but powerful. Just last week we put in some ceiling fans ran about 20ish 2 inch wood screws no problem and still had plenty of juice in the battery! If you are a DIY person or just looking for some power tools I would reccomend these got my set two years ago no regrets. I’ve actually expanded my line up got cxt vaccum, one of the flash lights and an additional charger kit with 2 amp battery. I’m currently debating the cxt sds hammer drill. Just ya know…. because 🙂
