The 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless 12 LED Flashlight (model DML801) provides ultra-bright illumination, versatility and convenience. At full brightness (12 LED), it provides 240 Lumens of light. The 2-mode switch also provides a half-brightness setting with 6 LED (120 Lumens). When using the fast-charging 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion 3.0 Ah battery (sold separately), the flashlight delivers 12-hours of continuous illumination on a single charge on the full brightness/12 LED sets and 22-hours on the half brightness/6 LED setting. The Flashlight can be powered by Makita 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries. For added convenience, the flashlight head folds up and down and pivots left to right to deliver multiple lighting angles. A metal hang-hook swivels 360 and folds away when not in use. The flashlight has a slim, compact design at 15 in. L and weighs only 2.1 lbs. (with 18-Volt LXT battery, sold separately). It’s part of Makita’s expanding 18-Volt Lithium-Ion series, the world’s largest cordless tool line-up powered by an 18-Volt Lithium-Ion slide-style battery. Makita 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger.

This flash light is amazing.It if not very bright but enough bright for job side. It takes very low power and one 4Amp battery is good fit 4 to 6 days using 6 to 8 hours continuesly.

This is a great light. I had my original one for years until it was stolen. I liked it so much I bought the identical light to replace it with. It will adjust to pretty much any configuration you need to illuminate your work area. This is not a pin point light but still gives off plenty light for most situations and stays charged for hours of use with the 3.0 batteries.

I like it it, but a bit brighter light would be LOVE! Makita, low beam is good, but please more power on “high”beam! Although, I’ve read that many of its competitors have even less light! I’ll keep it; it can be used for many under-sink jobs, and in some instances, under the hood of a car.
