The 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless/Corded LED Flood Light (DML805) offers the convenience of choosing between cordless or corded operation and provides bright and even lighting for large work spaces without the high heat of halogens. At full brightness it provides 750 Lumens of light and 450 Lumens on low mode. The fast-charging 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion 4.0 Ah battery (sold separately) delivers 10.5-hours of continuous illumination on a single charge. It also features Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) for improved dust and water resistance. It is fully compatible with Makita 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries. It’s part of Makita’s expanding 18-Volt Lithium-Ion series, the world’s largest cordless tool line-up powered by an 18-Volt Lithium-Ion slide-style battery. Makita 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger.

I’ve had mine for a year and I Love it! I board up houses from structure fires and it lights up any job no questions asked. I’m a Makita cordless junky and allot of the jobs that we do have no power source. Granted we’re mobile with power inverters and generators. That being said the only issue I had was the chord. It would get in the way of it’s pivoting movement. So I cut the chord to make my life easier. 750 lumens on the go. Light it up or go home.
