The Makita 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Blower (model DUB183Z, tool only) is a go-to clean-up tool and a favorite on job sites and in workshops. The DUB183Z includes a long, curved flat-end nozzle for leaf blowing and floor cleaning and is the perfect addition to any tool bag or work shop. It’s part of Makita’s expanding 18-Volt Lithium-Ion series, the world’s largest cordless tool line-up powered by an 18-Volt Lithium-Ion slide-style battery. Makita 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls. For it’s size and price, this blower is excellent. I have a Stihl backpack blower for heavy duty work. This Makita is perfect to just grab and do little jobs with like dry leaves on the deck or my garage. My wife can also use it which is a big plus. If you need more power, get a bigger unit.

this is the perfect solution for me. Has speed 1-2-3 on side of blower. I expected to move it up a notch if I wanted more air, but if u put it on 3 (strongest) you just have to slide it back and forth toget more or less velocity. I had trouble blowing leaves awy from my pool but this is PERFECT! I can slow it down when I’m close to the pool and crank it up when away from it, effortlessly. The crooked tube is great too, you can unscrew it to project air down or up. Variable speed and crooked tube work perfect. So now my high speed corded blower will be stored for bigger jobs, or maybe never used. This little blower has everything I think I’ll ever need.
