The Makita 18-Volt LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Blower (model DUB183Z, tool only) is a go-to clean-up tool and a favorite on job sites and in workshops. The DUB183Z includes a long, curved flat-end nozzle for leaf blowing and floor cleaning and is the perfect addition to any tool bag or work shop. It’s part of Makita’s expanding 18-Volt Lithium-Ion series, the world’s largest cordless tool line-up powered by an 18-Volt Lithium-Ion slide-style battery. Makita 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls. Star Protection is communication technology that allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. This leaf blower is amazing! i will go so low it only barely blows grains of sand, or it will blow so hard it will move small rocks. This is a compact light weight high performance blower. Just what I needed to clean out the corners of my garage/wood working shop. It also breaks down quickly for storage or transportation to another location/job.It is replacing my old low volume blower. I highly recommend it although the battery is expensive if you don’t already have another Makita tool.

I use for blowing dry leaves and dirt in my backyard and it works great. The only con I have is that you need to hold down the button to use. My finger gets tires after a minute or use. Otherwise it’s very powerful lightweight and effective.

Was exactly what I expected. Does great for blowing out the garage, driveway and sidewalk after mowing. If you are needing to blow leaves around your yard I would suggest a model with more power. On flat surfaces this blower is great.

I am thoroughly please with the makita LXT blower. After realizing it had a dial to change the level of air flow, it has become an integral part of my work. I can use it to blow off debris while on a jobsite. But the thing that really impressed me was yesterday our church went Christmas caroling and we went to a house of someone who was sick and not able to get out. When we walked up on the porch it was full of leaves. I happen to have my work Van with me was able to reach for my makita blower and blew the deck off to where we could sing for this lovely lady. I also appreciate that I did not have to buy a different battery. It works with mine makita star batteries.
