Makita ImpactXPS is new innovation in fastening with insert bits and fastening accessories built for the demands of the professional contractor. The ImpactXPS T15 Torx 1 in. Insert Bits are designed exclusively for use with high-torque impact drivers and are engineered to last up to 90-times longer than standard insert bits. High-strength steel delivers longer bit life and the precision-fit tip is engineered to prevent cam-out and stripping. The torsion section of the bit flexes under load to take pressure off of the bit tip for increased durability. The high quality steel construction is engineered for increased durability and features a matte nickel surface for best in class corrosion resistance. ImpactXPS T15 Torx 1 in. Insert Bits are ideal for the most demanding jobs including deck building, framing, installing plywood subfloor and more.

I have used ALL of the big name brands and these seemingly last a bit longer. Once a failure occurs it’s half of the head snapping off. My use of these was for securing hardibacker sheets in the walk in shower, only used 2 bits for a 4 x 6 room. I would most definitely use these again.

The one that came with the screws broke on the second screw and dewalt from bit pack I had broke one the first one, bought a five pack thinking these would do the same. I only used one for about 100 screws, would buy again but I don’t think these will ever break!!

I picked these up after experiencing how amazing the PH2 bits were and I have to say these are just as amazing! These fit into Torx fasteners so well it’s as if they were made for each other. I can’t believe how well these things are made. I’ll be sticking with these for as long as they make them!

Best bit so far. Better than the DeWalt and the Milwaukee bits. I actually had the T20 bit in the holder and used it half a day on T25 screws and it was still better than the DeWalt and Milwaukee bits. Wish I had found/bought the longer ones too.
