Makita ImpactXPS is new innovation in fastening with insert bits and fastening accessories built for the demands of the professional contractor. The ImpactXPS T20 Torx 1 in. Insert Bits are designed exclusively for use with high-torque impact drivers and are engineered to last up to 90-times longer than standard insert bits. High-strength steel delivers longer bit life and the precision-fit tip is engineered to prevent cam-out and stripping. The torsion section of the bit flexes under load to take pressure off of the bit tip for increased durability. The high quality steel construction is engineered for increased durability and features a matte nickel surface for best in class corrosion resistance. ImpactXPS T20 Torx 1 in. Insert Bits are ideal for the most demanding jobs including deck building, framing, installing plywood subfloor and more.

I have used ALL of the big name brands and these seemingly last a bit longer. Once a failure occurs it’s half of the head snapping off. My use of these was for securing hardibacker sheets in the walk in shower, only used 2 bits for a 4 x 6 room. I would most definitely use these again.

I have a lot of projects. Anytime I have to unfasten wood together. I use a torx head screw. I’ve use just about every driver on the market. This Makita set has been far superior to the others. I purchased 2 packs thinking the were like the others. I may never get to the second pack.

Just ok. Did not strip out the screws, but did not stay retained in the screw gun bit holder as well as the aftermarket ones did. I was constantly having to put them back in.
