Makita ImpactXPS is new innovation in fastening with insert bits and fastening accessories built for the demands of the professional contractor. The ImpactXPS T20 Torx 3 in. Power Bits are designed exclusively for use with high-torque impact drivers and are engineered to last up to 90-times longer than standard insert bits. High-strength steel delivers longer bit life and the precision-fit tip is engineered to prevent cam-out and stripping. The torsion section of the bit flexes under load to take pressure off of the bit tip for increased durability. The high quality steel construction is engineered for increased durability and features a matte nickel surface for best in class corrosion resistance. ImpactXPS T20 Torx 3 in. Power Bits are ideal for the most demanding jobs including deck building, framing, installing plywood subfloor and more.
- Precision machined tips, pulse torsion rings, an optimized torsion zone and unique steel, combine to deliver improved overall performance and bit life

I’m using these specifically with some T20 joist hanger screws (screws are from another store) and they are fitting those screws quite well. Nice bits. Driving with M18 Fuel impact drivers.

Stock, easy load, size is just right

I am normally a Dewalt guy, however, these bits are clearly much more superior to the Dewalt. It was very common for my Dewalt ones to break or round the ends. I’ve used these now for nearly 600 screws and no issues yet.

Great bit

These bits work very well, they don’t seem to “strip” out as do some lesser brands

Great quality. I like how the bit size is stamped into it vs a light laser etching that easily wears off.

Just picked them up so that, When I need them I will have them. I like my Makita tools. They are durable and tough.

They did the job. Used on a impact driver

Worked great for putting down wooden deck.

These bits hold up very well compared to the short bits. The short barrel section between the tip and the drive end helps keep the bit from shearing off. The short tips have sheared off while using my Makita impact drill many time. These bits have a very long life before finally wearing out and not breaking off.

I may be bias maybe, but I swear by everything Makita! They don’t make a bad product/tool, and made to hold up to excessive and extraneous job/task use an application. That’s with any Makita tool or accessory, including their drill bits
