The ImpactXPS 8-Piece 1/4 in. Drive 6-Point SAE Impact Socket Set features high-strength 6-point sockets designed to be used with impact driver, impact wrenches and ratchets. Sockets are made from heat-treated alloy steel combined with a black oxide coating to resist corrosion for longer life. ImpactXPS 6-point drive sockets are engineered for extreme torque applications. A great set of 1/4″ impact bits that compliment my mini 12-volt Bosch impact drill. A truly perfect fit that includes the most popular socket -heavily used- sizes. I enjoy using this kit, it is small and built well.

Nothing like the Makita gold set. These have a cheap black paint over the sockets that makes them look plastic. While they’ll do the job I’m sure, I am not enthused at the lack of Makita typical quality one might see. The numbers are so small, even sharpie to them wouldn’t make a difference. They’re illegible So expect to be squinting trying to read the 10-11-12mm in particular. It stops at 13mm for the set.. normally I consider a set up to 14, and have even seen 15mm 1/4 in size… but this set does go down to the low size of 6mm. 1 star for the decent 1/4 hex to square adapter it came with. It’s heavier than each individual socket. I do like the red pvc /silicone type mold that holds the sockets. It is similar to the Gold Makita set. Nothing to get excited about , sorry.

This is a nice useful little set. It is only 7 sockets but can be used at times. The only bad thing is they are poorly marked and very hard to read the size. I do not use the 1/4″ impacts as much but its good to have a few small ones if necessary.
