The 14 in. Power Cutter, model EK6101, is engineered for industrial performance but with less weight at only 19.6 lbs. The compact and efficient EK6101 is powered by a 61cc engine with a full 4.4 HP for the most demanding concrete cutting applications. Its engineered to start easier and vibrate less. It also has innovative features like Stratified Air Scavenging (SAS) that recovers up to 75% of unburned fuel to reduce fuel consumption, and a cyclonic air intake that discards larger debris for increased air filter life and less maintenance. The compact and efficient EK6101 is an ideal cutting solution for metal decking, angle iron, I-beams, cast iron pipe, brick/masonry, stone/concrete blocks, railroad rails, road curbs, and asphalt. It’s a great tool to have. I don’t do to much cutting of concrete but decided to buy this gas saw for a specific job of cutting out for a long line of pipe below the concrete pad. It made quick work of it. The include hose attachment was great for keeping down the dust level . Well worth the cost .

I’ve only used once so far to cut up some old fence post anchors that I dug out of the ground. Cut through them like butter. The water connection that’s mounted to the saw is honestly a bit shoddy, it sprung a leak after the first use…it still was able to spray enough water on the blade though so it didn’t really affect anything, hopefully the leak does not get any worse. 4 stars, would’ve been 5 if not for the cheap water spray.

Worked as advertised. Decided to purchase when renting a concrete saw. Rental for the blade was going to be 50 dollars and purchased for 99 dollars. Now, next time I rent a saw, I have the blade and no need to rent. Money saved in the long run. (I am a contractor and occasionally need to rent this equipment).
