The Makita 14 in. Power Cutter (model EK7301) is a gas power cutter engineered to meet the demand for convenience and performance. The EK7301 delivers with faster starting, more power and improved fuel economy. The EK7301 has a 4.5 cu. in. (73 cc) engine with 5.1 HP (maximum horsepower) and a no load speed of 9,350 RPM to take on the most demanding applications. The ignition coil with start-support function stores electrical power with each pull for easier start-ups. It’s engineered for reduced flooding with a carburetor that includes improved deco-valve and metering spring for precise fuel regulation at start up. The EK7301 also features more efficient fuel consumption with an SLR muffler that recycles unburned fuel vapor for reduced scavenging-losses and 15% improved consumption. The EK7301 also features a 5-stage foam-paper-nylon air filter system with advance directional air flow that provides cleaner air for better saw performance and easy filter cleaning and replacement. The EK7301 is engineered for professional concrete cutting applications and is ideal for landscapers, road construction crews, railroad crews, rescue crews, general steel contractors. Packaging was well prepared to protect the tool. Delivered on time, but I wish the FedEx driver had notified me when he delivered to my front porch. This is a great little piece. Yes, it is made in China, but it feels great in the hand, it’s super powerful, and everything about it says “quality”. I was pleasantly surprised to find an automatic LED in a product that was on the lower end of the price scale. Nothing is perfect, but the only thing I found the least bit unsatisfying was the bag. It’s rather small and looks awkward when zipped because it’s not form-fitted or shaped to pack up nicely, but it does the job of holding all the parts, plus an additional item or two. In other words, if they had not put the bag in, this would be one of the most positive reviews I’ve ever written.

drill has performed excelently so far, the brushless motor provides extremely fast response as well as very high RPMS. just as a test i held the trigger for almost 5 minutes with almost no noticeable increase in heat! ive been have fuel rail/injector problems and this thing has pulled them out and put them back 4-5 times on a single charge with 2 bars left on the battery which is outstanding
