The 14 MM4 4-Stroke Power Cutter (model EK7651H) is the world’s first 4-stroke power cutter. The EK7651H is another innovation in Makita expanding line-up of concrete solutions. The 4-stroke EK7651H delivers several advantages over 2-stroke. No oil mixing is required, so contractors get simplified operation and no more engine failure due to improper mix. The MM4 4-stroke engine eliminates the need for separate mixed oil/fuel can. for easier starts, the automatic engine decompression valve is engineered into the cam gear to reduce pull-start force by 40%. The EK7651H also has lower noise at 92.7dB(A), smoother idle for continuous operation, and lower fuel consumption at only 0.45 Gal. per hour. Additional advantages include a 3-ring piston engineered for improved commercial engine durability, and reduced exhaust and intake carbon build-up for longer cylinder life. In addition, the EK7651H has a 5-stage foam-paper-nylon filtration system with Advance Direction Air Flow to provide cleaner air for improved engine durability. This Promotion also comes with a bonus Makita HR2661 1 in. AVT Rotary Hammer, accepts SDS-PLUS bits, w/HEPA Dust Extractor (D-handle).
- EK7651H – automatic engine decompression valve is engineered into the cam gear to reduce pull-start force by 40%
- EK7651H – pressure compensated carburetor with vented choke plate allows for optimum fuel delivery and reduces the occurrence of flooding during cold starts
- EK7651H – integrated all aluminum wheels reduce fatigue during long straight cuts and retract when not in use to prevent unexpected movement
- EK7651H – eliminates the need for separate mixed oil/fuel can
- EK7651H – lower noise at 92.7 dB (A) and smoother idle for continuous operation

Saw is fantastic!! It started on the third pull, right out of the box and has continued to start after three pulls every time. The only downside is that I wished it would have come with a diamond blade, like the other Makita saw I bought.

This is one of the best saws I have ever bought.Would recommend it to everyone.

We put the saw to work immediately and it’s been working great ever since , I own 3 of the same saws that take mixed fuel and they work great but the new saw works just as good without the hassles of mixing.

We use this saw to cut seams in driveways It is like cutting butter (With Diamond bade)

Great saw! Not having to run mixed fuel is a real plus on a job site. When cutting concrete or asphalt it is still noisy but when idling it is much quieter than the two stroke version. The vibration also seems to be less when using this saw.

Very good works well

Saw started 4th pull out of the box and has started within 3 pulls every time since. Saw is considerably quieter and seems to cut just fine.
Hillary Towne (verified owner) –
Work good, the start is little hard

Takes some getting used to but this is by far the best saw I have ever put my hands on. From easy starting to quiet idle to never mixing gas again. Only thing is the shut off switch is easy to bump to the off position.

It doesn’t have that real aggressive power like a two-stroke but it still does the job just like the two-stroke and is a lot quieter smoother and the aggravation of not mixing the oil is worth it I love it

First saw failed to start. Replacement started but cold natured. I live in Florida. Underpowered. Bogs down easily. Heavy. Would not buy again. MADE IN CHINA.

Great machine, tears it up fast.
Burley Lockman (verified owner) –
Very good works well

Seems well built. Cuts well. It is a bit cold blooded however but once it has ran for 30 seconds or so it cleans up.
