The Makita 4 in. Angle Grinder has a 6 Amp motor that maintains performance during extended use and grinds at speeds up to 11,000 RPM for the most demanding applications. Weighing only 3.1 lbs. and equipped with a small barrel grip of only 2-1/4 in. plus an angled side handle, it offers great control and comfort. The grinder incorporates labyrinth construction and Zigzag varnish to seal and protect the motor and bearings from dust and debris.

Had one of these over 30 years, and hope this one is as dependable and lasts as long. Only complaint is the old ones had a guard/ridge around the on/off button to prevent accidentally switching the grinder. The new ones don’t have the ridge, and I average accidentally switching the grinder about 20 time a day. Just sayin’

I bought it to cut off a paddle lock and it worked like a charm. It took a few minutes to figure out the on/off switch which I don’t like. Mine came with the plastic case and I bought several different 4” size cutting wheels to store in the box with the grinder. Nice light weight I can hold with one hand. I’d recommend this grinder.
