The side handle is positioned at an increased 20° angle to give you added control and an easier grip. Lightweight, its compact, refined design weighs only 4 lbs. for less fatigue on the job. Smart, labyrinth-style construction seals and protects the motor and bearings from dust and debris for a longer tool life.

I have two of these little grinders and use them for all sorts of things. If Makita knew how they were used by me they would make some adapters and sell them. I am a hobby hot rod builder and am going to buy another one of these.Don’t understand how someone could destroy one of these in a short period of time without misusing it…

This grinder gets used on a daily basis around my fab shop for cleaning parts out of my CNC plasma table. I received my first one free as a bonus in a drill purchase, and it got me hooked. I used the little grinder for almost a year before it quit, and liked it so much I went and immediately bought 2 more of them for use around the shop. Neither have let me down after near constant use for a few months now. Will definitely be buying replacements when they do finally quit!
