It works very well. Bought for use with Diamabrush tool and learned that only Diamabrush dust shroud would work. Also, if you need a dust shroud I recommend only a Makita brand vs. a genaric type; better construction and quality.

I have never used a grinder before so I can’t compare to others. However, I used this grinder with a diamond cup grinder and dust shroud hooked to my shop vac to grind a kitchen floor in prep for a new tile floor. The floor was covered in a ton of old mastic. I was able to get it all off in about 3 hours of work (spread out with breaks, of course). I was impressed with how well it worked.(The before shot still had some framing from the old kitchen that was subsequently removed)
