I’ve generally been very pleased with Makita products. I haven’t had the chance to use it yet, I expect no issues.

Seems to operate as engineered to . I ordered it online from HOME DEPOT as I never saw it stocked in the local store , then opted for home delivery . It was shipped and arrived on time . The problem was it was shipped in the product box instead of a well packaged shipping container . When shipper dropped it at my front door half of the bottom of box was torn open exposing the tool , was surprising the two small accessory wrenches were still intact . Tool appeared to be undamaged . Contacted HD and reached a mutual resolution . This was the first online order I placed with HD . Giving 5 stars for product itself and the customer support at HD .

This grinder surprised me for how smooth and quiet running it is,…..it is a dandy. It doesn’t have the usual scream that most all DC brush type motors have. I would ask, “how’d they do that?”Using a new 3/8” dia carbide bit, this little grinder will hog metal like you wouldn’t believe,……it did a 3 hr job in 1 hr.I’m not sure I like the feature of the air blowing out of the front of the grinder. I got a lot of messy blow back that I didn’t get w/ my elcheepo $19 grinder that broke. This is the only thing that I can give a negative comment on.

This grinder replaces one I finally wore out polishing corvette parts off my vettes. It took a long time to wear out so I’m sure this one will last just as long!

I returned the Die grinder to Home Depot. It was a very nice tool, and the price was great, but it was too big for the type of projects I am currently working on.

got it in a timely manner. Best price around, does what I need it for . Very quiet, pretty light . the long nout is perfect length. I don’t know if I need a variable speed , never used one. I just lightly touch , & grind slowly, a little at a time I’m just about all bl;ue with my tools . I have three grinders that are all over two years old & are used at least 4 to five days a week. i have changed out the cords on them all twice , but that’s a small price to pay , & I’m getting pretty fast at that

Works well, housing gets hot to touch after some use, and is a little loud.

I got the die grinder in pretty good time and it’s everything that was listed. It’s nice and quiet for what it is and has not had any problems on any of the materials I have used it on. The only things I wish was different was a option for variable speed and a case for it. But overall I am 100%happy

grinder is easy to use in confined spaces in between floor joists to open up existing holes for plumbing work, or to line up hole saw cuts.

Works as advertised, seems to vibrate more than I would think and noisy with no-load. It levels out when load is applied.

Have used it a great deal and it is a wonderful too.

As usual makita makes great tools. This die grinder is comfortable to use, quiet, and plenty powerful. I’m sure it’ll be a good addition to my ever growing collection of “right tools for the job.”
