It’s a very handy tool to have. It’s a little under powered, but a truly great value for the price. Buy one!

I have used this grinder to grind out welds and shorten bolts and it worked very well for both tasks. Nice simple toggle switch and very strong motor. Overall impression is well-made and durable.

Excellent quality tool I use for cleaning out rust and trimming. This Makita is an overall best value compared to hf. It does not overheat at the handle, but does get warm.

Purchased this die grinder to replace a craftsman dual insulated Die Grinder that I have had for 20 years. The craftsman was terrible with carbide bits, it would chatter and break of the heads. The Mikita is well balanced, easy to hold and I like the power switch position and operation. It was a great purchase andI like Mikita tools.

I purchased the Makita Die Grinder to use for detail work on my chain saw carving hobby. My hope was that the Makita Die Grinder would help with detailing the facial features on my carvings. The Makita Die Grinder did not disappoint me, works as advertised. Quiet operation, light weight, easy to handle and a really nice feature is the rubberized nose for gripping. I would definitely recommend the Makita brand to a friend.

I’m using it to make a Maloof sculptured rocker. It works fine. It is stout and weighs a little more than I would like but I imagine if it was lighter I would feel more vibration so it is a trade off.
