I use my grinder to carve wood. It is strong. Never bogs down when digging in with coarse grinding bits. Would buy another. Yes.

I have a Makita GD0800C Die Grinder, which I really like. However, it can get heavy when using it like a Rotary Tool, which it does better than a Dremel on pieces that aren’t super small. The Makita GD0603 is about half the weight and was a perfect size, but it didn’t have a speed control and was way too powerful at full speed for our applications. I had to return it. However, if it had a speed adjustment, I would be willing to pay even more it, as Makita GD0603 was a very strong and light tool.

Durable, reliable. I use several of these die grinders at a time while carving with each set up with a different bit.

Good value when you want a rotary tool with significantly more power than a Dremel yet still compact. I am a homeowner and use it for metal grinding, with cut-off wheels, and for shaping wood with rotary rasps. There are more powerful models but they are larger, heavier, and noisier. Feels well balanced with minimal vibration at high rpm.

I like it.

This pencil grinder has power and is not heavy. It worked perfectly (with a carbide tip bit) to grind off the heads of rusted screws that were embedded in sheet metal.

my problem is that you keep harassing me about your survey I don’t know why you just leave me alone instead of sending me five text messages to complete your survey if I had an issue I would call In

Great tool, narrow cone shank is essential for versatile use. Double wrench arbor is slightly inconvenient as I find the need to use a vice to fully torque the die in place. But on the upside theres no arbor lock or raised edges on the arbor which makes it great for getting into tight spaces.

after trying to decide on size of die grinder I went with this Makita. It has 28K rpms and 2.2 amps plenty of power for the job I purchased it for. Thru the years I have had many Makita tools and none have disappointed.
