Model HR2811F is a versatile, high-powered rotary hammer with an L-shape design ideal for horizontal work. The hammer accepts SDS-PLUS bits and is powered by a 6.7 AMP variable speed motor delivering 2.7 Joules of impact energy. The HR2811F features 3-mode operation for rotation only, hammering with rotation or hammering only for multiple applications, with 0-1,100 RPM and 0-4,500 BPM. The torque limiting clutch prevents gear damage by automatically disengaging gears if the bit binds. The HR2475 has an LED light for improved illumination of the work surface. This promotional item also comes with a Bonus 192108-A 3/4 in. x 10 ft. Vacuum Hose and a Bonus 193472-7 Dust Extraction Attachment, SDS-Plus, Drilling. The Makita Vacuum Hose (3/4 in. outer diameter x 10 ft.) is ideal for use with the Makita random orbit sanders. Quality fittings and construction are engineered to help keep the work surface clear from dust and debris. The Makita Dustless Hammer Attachment (193472-7) works with Makita SDS-Plus corded and cordless rotary hammers. It features a 17 in. hose, telescoping spring-loaded barrel, depth stop, bit size adjustment knobs and a built-in ruler. No vacuum motor or components attach to the tool. The Makita solution is more compact and has less weight than most built-on systems.

This Rotary Hammer is amazing. I have used hammer drills before taking up ti 20 min per hole. This one cut through 5 inches of concrete in about a minute. The built in shock absorber in the handle eliminates almost all vibration in the hand. This tool is well built, well balanced, easy to operate. Can’t say enough good things about it. I use it for commercial construction and is very durable and dependent. This is the type I have been buying for 10 years. Just make sure to grease the chuck from time to time or the end of bits to keep the bearings from locking.

Bought one last night because my SDS Max drill won’t drill less than 1/2″ holes. This thing drilled about (30) 1/4″ holes in concrete in a combined time of about 3 minutes. It just blew right through the concrete…took zero effort. Most of my tools are Makita, and have been for a while, because of this level of performance.

I bought this Makita rotary hammer drill two weeks ago and must say it’s fantastic. I also have the Bosch bulldog sds plus extreme max and had my coworker use the my Bosch and I used the Makita with 9 other contractors around to witness the Makita blew the Bosch away and I will post the video very soon. Hands down the Makita HR2811F SDS-PLUS ROTARY HAMMER DRILL is a great tool and for those Bosch & Dewalt lovers try this Makita out and you’ll see because now I’m a believer. This is a very powerful rotary hammer drill to be 7amps to drill through concrete like it has a point to make plus chiseled like it was a sds max again try it for yourself.
