This Makita Kit features a sleek, powerful and compact 1-1/8 in. Rotary Hammer with a 4-1/2 in. Angle Grinder. The rotary hammer is ergonomically designed with a padded grip and side handles for your comfort. An LED light helps to illuminate your work surface. The angle grinder has a high-output, 7.5 Amp motor and a 2-1/2 in. barrel grip.

This Hammer Drill goes through concrete like butter. After several attempts using a regular drill to make some holes in a concrete wall, I decided to try this hammer drill. Geez, what a great investment it was. I also bought the adapter so I can use my regular bits with it.

The drill is awesome! Small as in short base making it compact allowing it to fit in places most hammer drills will not fit to get the job done! This is a must have tool if your in the market for a nice hammer drill. Just so you know I never write reviews on tools this speaks volume since I`m writing this review!!! Get you some! The angle grinder is a must have tool for the industry also again small and compact and light like the use of the hammer drill. You can`t beat this deal all day everyday at the one and only tool place THE BIG HOME DEPOT.

This tool replaced a 12 year old Bosch chipping gun. I purchased this over another Bosch, because of the free grinder. Works as well as the Bosch.

I needed a tool to scrape linoleum tile off cement floors to install new porcelain tile. Needing a tool to make job easier, could not find an exact match of which tool to use. Also, although an investment in future uses, didn’t want to spend too much money. I did purchase a jack hammer over internet; however, although it would do the job with ease, it was too heavy and would take it’s toll on the back within a short amount of time. After discussing the job with Home Depot tool department, they recommended the Makita 7 am 1/8 in. electric hammer drill. They indicated it was more reliable than the lower model, and had better stats. Purchased both the hammer drill and added tile scraper and gave to contractors to use on the job. They and myself were extremely satisfied with the job it did. Tile came up with ease. Within 2.5 hours, all tile over 250 sq. ft was scraped including glue residue in area. I have other jobs that require concrete drilling and this will do that job also. Nice bonus, for $280, package included an angle grinder. Would definitely recommend this product to use.
