It’s an amazing quick release tool for drilling holes in concrete and a great shipping hammer. Was able to break through an 8-in foundation and create a 8-in cold return duct hole in about 30 minutes.

The Tool preforms above and beyond what I had expected, Durable, Versital, And Reliable.Only Drawback is its a Max size Bits, and home depots located here in pheonix only carry the Plus sized bits. However, you can get other brands that fit in there place.

I purchased this for a demo job with a large steam shower to remove the tile and the pan (thick mortar base that was resisting sledge hammer blows). The straight chisel and non-rotary hammer action acted just like a hand held jack hammer. Great option and perfect for the job. Cut through the pan in minutes!

For everyday work is excellent , good handling a torque

Would be better if the bit was able to mount 90’ in addition to its default position

I love it. I’ve used a lot of smaller hammers before, but the first opportunity I had to use this one, I was breaking up concrete feeling like Tim the tool man taylor, saying “more power! . I was seriously grinning ear to ear as this beast was tearing through the concrete with ease. The only problem I have found with it so far, is that it has made me extremely impatient, waiting for my next concrete or tile job so I can get this hammer out again. Unfortunately I only get those jobs every couple months about. So it leaves me itching to use this thing on any job I can, just to get it out. Even if it’s over kill for the task lol. Oh as far as features though, I really dig the low vibration for one. I was expecting to be shaking a lot worse from a hammer of this size. Less shakes = more accuracy and makes it easier to use for longer periods. Also, how it allows you to rotate your chisel or whatever you’re hammering with, to whatever direction you want, is pretty handy. It’s very sturdy and well built. I’m glad i bought this specific hammer. Initially I was questioning if I wanted to go with the makita, Milwaukee, or a Bosch even, but after using this one, I know I made the right choice.

Excellent tool. Replaced a smaller outdated unit with this one and my only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner. Manufacturer and Retailer offer great service and customer support. SDS Max line offering is convenient with tons of bits and attachments available.
