I used it for demolition on an entertainment center. Cut through the wood and nails like I needed it to. Switching blades is easy as well. Would recommend this over a cordless one due to its power. Very pleased with this purchase and the price was reasonable.

I purchased this saw for some heavy demolishing work in my shop. I opted for the chorded 11 amp saw. The Makita is quiet, powerful, and gets the job done. Paired with Diablo blades, the machine cuts through nail-infested boards like it’s butter. Go for chorded vs.battery: Unlimited operating time.

Excellent tool.I had the task of removing hundreds of feet of unused steel steam lines, air lines, steel window guards and cast iron radiators from the ceilings, walls and floors of an old factory building. Some of the pipes were 4 inches. Used with Milwaukee Torch blades from HD.

I have not bought a new saw all in 20 years. This one was on clearance so I went for it. It has plenty of power. The variable speed trigger is nice and responsive. So far I am very happy with it
