I’m disabled, and it is difficult for me to use some tools. I didn’t with this saw. It was SO easy to use and assemble. I was able to complete my project in record time. I used it to make a portable stand, for my Masterbuilt Electric Smoker, out of a small shopping cart. It cut threw it like butter. Best investment!

I’m working on rebuilding my deck. I bought the Makita reciprocating saw to help speed up the demolition work on my deck by having a second saw for the job. The saw performed flawlessly and made quick work of cutting down the deck rails and posts. It was easy to set up, and I had it running in minutes. It did a lot of work on its first day without any problems. It has a little weight to it, this isn’t a lightweight saw. It is comparable to my Milwaukee reciprocating saw I’ve had for years. Investing in a good set of saw blades really helps too.

I had a Makita Reciprocation Saw for 20 year until the power cord failed near the entry to the saw. The failure was caused by the way Makita has the saw crammed into the case. This still is a problem with the new saw. But, the saw works great. Easy to change blades.

I have to say this is one of the Best purchase I’Ve gotten from Home Depot. I’m a 67 yr old lady. After a few tries with a couple of the pole saws which always required reapplying the chain every 5-10 minutes, I received some excellent service and direction from one of your floor staff, I wish I could remember his name, who pointed me to this Makita Reciprocating Saw which he thought would be better for me. . Love it. No more problems cutting the tree branches/wood. I couldn’t be happier.
