I purchased this Makita JV0600K to for a Trex composite deck project I am working on and I could not be happier. It replaced an old Black and Decker that I think I paid only about 20 dollars for so you can imagine how much better this saw is. This saw has gobs of power and cuts straight as a arrow. In fact I stopped using the circular saw for cutting the long angles I just cut it with this saw as I could do it more accurately and just as straight if not straighter. I will say I purchased the Bosch T-Shank blades for cutting wood and they are amazing as well. The one con I can think of is all my old blades do not work on this saw but who cares blades are cheap.

like all jigsaws I guess– difficult to cut a straight line highest speed works better for me. well made rugged case blower could be better and ALL SAWS SHOULD COME WITH A LIGHT NOT ONLY THE MORE EXPENSIVE MODELS
