Don’t let the negative reviews fool you. Check for shipping damage before you accept it. Had mine shipped to the store, it was damage free. The saw is great. Zero start-up jump. Positive angle stops. Very smooth operation. Even the included blade was high quality.

This saw makes clean and precise cuts. I have it set up on the WST06 Compact Folding Miter Saw Stand which makes it much more convenient to use for bigger jobs. I am fully satisfied having spent a little bit more money on a quality product that I am sure will continue to perform for a long time.

Pro’s – – Zero clearance -Soft start motor & quite -Smooth Slide -Good bladeCon’s – -Slide rails not aligned with motor, which are factory set and not meant to be adjusted. – Cuts with slide will not be perfectly straight / flat – Excepted better precision from MAKITA for price

The saw needed no adjustments to the alignments out of the box. All miter and bevel angles were right on.

Pick up of the saw was easy.

I love this machine! I recommended this saw four people who work with wood. You not going to be disappointed with this product ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The slow start motor is probably the best thing about the saw. No vibrations in the blade for a precise cut.

Absolutely perfect right out of the box. I could not be happier. I highly recommend this saw. It is extremely well made. The blade is great.

Very pleased so far, had high expectations for the laser…it does ok, I’d give it a C+ at best. Overall, a solid unit. Cuts well, easy operations, everything seems to be placed well as far as knobs and levers.

First off, there is no perfect miter saw on the market yet. I think the Kapex and this Makita are the closest to perfection for my needs. Each saw has their strengths and weaknesses, and I prefer the Makita overall. Main reason I went with this Makita is durability and price. The Festool forums are full of stories about Kapex motor failure. $1500 for a saw and possibly $500 more if the motor goes kaput, no thanks. I’d rather just pay $500 for the Makita saw and if it breaks outside of the warranty I’ll buy another and still only be into it for $1k. Festool makes genuinely great tools, but they are not as robust as I like for that kind of money. Warranty is good but w/e.Dust collection is on par with Kapex, provided you have the CFM’s and a genuine extractor, not a shop vac. Heard some stories about the rails being off plane for some folks but mine was set up perfectly right out of the box. Doesn’t have the fine adjustment knob like a Kapex but with practice it’s possible to get pretty accurate by working the bevel tension knob. I like that it can miter 60 degrees either way, and it doesn’t need space in the rear to slide.

I got a Makita LS1011L in 1992 … still find it acceptable for most applications.I purchased the LS1019L for a variety of applications – once again, I am very impressed with the quality, ease of set up, and performance of Makita products

Very light, easy handling nailer. This nailer replaces a first gen all electric made by a competitor that has red tools. The very minor drawback of requiring air tool oil is worth the slight hassle. Don’t hesitate. Buy now and enjoy.

Over all a very good tool. Disappointed that the dust port adaptor did not come with the saw. I had to order it directly from Makita ( they were very nice).

Great saw. Delivers what it promises. Feature set outdoes all other saws

Cuts like butter, super powerful. Dust collection is sub par, but I’m not sure any miter saw has good dust collection without modification.
