Good size.

Great ergonomics esp mid-grip one-handed use. Variable trigger. Not great power or run time even for 12V but great for light pruning etc esp at such a low price. Would have still kicked in more for a newer brushless model. Helps to have a 4Ah battery.

I am happy with the saw. I bought it to cut something in a very tight space & it worked great. Although after about a minute of use it did get hot. Over all it is the only thing that would have worked.

Ended up with the 12v instead of the 18v I thought I was buying, but it may be HD enough to do what I need to do with it, just makes thing smoother with all tools using the same battery, only one charger needed, when I bought this one, there was only one in the store, and I didn’t notice for a couple of weeks, that it wasn’t the 18v, but we’ll see.

This piece of equipment has met all my expectations, since I am a small women age 59 this is the perfect fit for me.. I use it mostly to cut branches that is to big for a hedge trimmer and not big enough for a chainsaw, I have also used it to cut some bolts that held wood together

A very nice size for smaller jobs. We use it for trimming jobs around the yard, including our bamboo patch. Being cordless and relatively light, it’s easy to use and to fit into tight spots. I like the two batteries – keeps things lighter yet there’s always a backup battery ready to go. Comes with two blades. I would have liked at least four with the purchase. Choose this rather than the larger model if you want a better price and a lighter saw.

I am replacing the interior window frames on 32 windows and needed a small light weight reciprocating saw to cut the nails holding the frames in place. I just started the job and so far the saw has performed well. I would have preferred a small corded saw but could not fine one the met my needs. The only con is the cost of the batteries, but this is true of all non-corded tools. I wouldn’t recommend this saw for large demolition jobs. I have a much larger more powerful saw for that work.

I had no prior experience whatsoever with electric or battery powered saws, but I just used this the other day to cut some major dead limbs from a crape myrtle and to reshape a vitex tree, and was very impressed by the ease of use. I decided to purchase this as a safer alternative to a chainsaw, and for its adaptability for other tasks as well.
