Not sure “LOVE this tool” will do, I think the best part is just the feel, it’s a part of your own arm, It truly allows you to make one hand cuts without a cord in the way. Great for detail starting & ending cuts, it’s an extension of your hand, it’s just right !

I have only used this saw once, but the results were what I expected. It cuts through hardened steel bolts like butter, and the small compact design made it possible to get to these bolts in a very confined space, with multiple fuel lines in the way. The only other option was a Dremel tool which would have taken a bit longer. If you are a mechanic, I would recommend this saw for those times when nothing else will work in those confined spaces. The 12 volts are fine for my uses as a shade tree mechanic. A must have in my arsenal of tools, I am very happy that I purchased this tool, it will get some use.

worked well, frugal with the batteries, did what I expected with plenty of power.

Have not used this yet, but am looking forward to it. It will be nice not having to worry about dragging an extension cord out.

Very compact and lightweight were the 2 reasons I decided to buy it. Main purpose is to trim some small branches (no bigger than 2″ in diameter) around the house. Handsaw is no longer practical for me (did I say I’m getting old?) and takes twice as long to do the same job. The forward on/off switch is a smart idea and helps a lot in controlling the saw while cutting. The battery holds up pretty good and re-charges fairly fast. Just remember that this saw is not designed for heavy duty applications and you won’t be disappointed. Always wear safety glasses and gloves when using power tool!

Love my Makita, very light weight. This saw me all my expectations because I tried to use my husband’s saw but it was to heavy and had a cord. This Makita is Cordless, I just can’t saw enough of how happy I am to have this. Great investment for a lifetime.

This saw is a great deal and great tool. It’s light and performs very well. It also goes with my 12 l-Volt MAX CXT drill and driver set.

I am replacing the interior window frames on 32 windows and needed a small light weight reciprocating saw to cut the nails holding the frames in place. I just started the job and so far the saw has performed well. I would have preferred a small corded saw but could not fine one the met my needs. The only con is the cost of the batteries, but this is true of all non-corded tools. I wouldn’t recommend this saw for large demolition jobs. I have a much larger more powerful saw for that work.

Great tool light weight didn’t notice when purchased that it was only 12 volts with smaller batteries, kinda disappointing speed ,top speed is half at least of a electric sawzall ,but I think it will still. Be a valuable tool in my collection

Great drill very easy to use

I had some reservations about the 12 volt instead of the 18 volt model using the 12 volt model was very efficient. I have no complaints.
