I always buy this one , since were I used to work they bought it for me , since then I fall in love with the router , it’s not bulky not heavy at all and pretty simple to adjust the dept’s not like the full size are stronger but heavier and bulky Although even it’s not the strongest it last for a while ! This is the 3 rd I owe (the first stayed on the company I worked) the second just gave up after +-5 years of use ) and I just bought this one so far it’s working awesome!

Great trimmer for mica light weight easy to use dial up your speed corded was the way to go since it won’t be used much just doors and mica not my full time job but I’m sure Makita would handle all I could throw at it

So far, in the two weeks that I’ve used the router it has performed to my satisfaction. I used it to mortise hinges on 4 interior doors and to put a “V” groove in a cutting board. It handles relatively well, but takes getting used to since I’m a first-time user of a compact router. The RPMs are easy to adjust with the dial and it comes with an edge guide to use when needed. It also has a start-up function where it turns at a slow speed and then increases to full speed in a couple of seconds so you don’t have the full torque immediately when you flip the switch and risk losing control of it.
