The 1-1/4 HP Compact Router Kit (model RT0701CX3) delivers performance, versatility and precision in a compact size. With a full 1-1/4 maximum horsepower and three bases included, the kit is engineered for a full range of precision routing applications. The kit includes three bases needed for a range of routing applications. The plunge base has a full 0 in. – 1-3/8 in. plunge depth capacity and an easy-to-use fine depth adjustment with 3 preset depth stops. The tilt base provides routing at different angles with positive stops at -30 Degree and 45 Degree and the offset base allows for routing in hard-to-reach areas and as close as 3/4 in. to a wall. The router accepts industry standard template guides for added versatility. California residents: see Proposition 65 information.

Excelent kit with dust collection attachments. Case needs to have carry handles not just a shoulder strap. Router is easy to use being light weight it is very easy to control.

So far I am very happy with this 3-base kit. To be sure, this is a light to semi-medium duty router so if you’ve got heavy work to do go for a 2+ hp unit with 1/2 inch shaft. But for most of the uses I’ll use it for this kit is just what I need and comes with all of the extras I’ll ever want. I like it…!

This router kit has a lot of expensive extras if you bought them piece meal. The router is easy to control. I cut eight round overs on a 1 and 1/2 inch piece of red oak that was only an inch wide. Has a really nice carrying case

I’m really happy with Makita products I’ve used it multiple times with a few of the accessories I recommend. I would have bought the cordless if it had come with all the accessories. It’s my understanding they work on the cordless also.
