The router is double-insulated with a heavy-duty aluminum motor housing for increased durability.

Router itself seems good. My issue is with the included accessories. When I purchased the router my intended use was to do some edge trimming and mortising. The plunge base included with the unit works well and includes an edge guide. What they fail to mention is the edge guide will only mount to the stationary base and is missing a key part to allow you to use it with the plunge base. I blame myself for not digging into the details more. I saw the set included the plunge base and assumed the included edge guide would mount to it. It actually shows it in use in the pictures but the set is missing the part I have circled. The other frustrating piece is I am having a heck of a time finding the part I need.

I bought this for occasional DIY use. Its light weight and soft start feature make it easy to use where my bigger plunge router would be a pain-in-the-neck. You should definitely use both wrenches to tighten the collet — a bit started to spin out of the collet when I just used the shaft-lock button, which affords limited torquing.

Great router/ plunge base combo. Smooth operation. You do need to buy an adapter to use bushings in the plunge base but I believe most brands do not include that. Other than that added expense I am very happy with the purchase.
