This is the first track saw I have ever used and it was pretty easy to figure out. It worked well and cut a very straight line down an 8′ piece of MDF. I would highly recommend it.

First and foremost this is a high quality accurate tool which is extremely versatile in many applications, as a custom woodworker in have wanted a track saw for a long time and finally was able to pull the trigger and get one a few weeks back. Let me tell you how much easier this has made my life in my workshop, already it had increased my productivity in my workshop as i used this saw to square up boards to glue up in 2 barn doors as well have used it to square up 2 live edge slabs which needed perfectly square egdes, cut through those 2” thick slabs like butter and left super clean and smooth end grain which led to less sanding time. Not only has it performed amazing purchasing it through Home Depot, i got a better price than from Another online site and it was delivered within a week as The other online site was going to take over 3 weeks. No doubt this has been a great purchase and will recommend this product, i would like to thank Home Depot for getting it to me so i could put it to use immediately to get my commissioned projects finished quicly

I use this saw with the guide in a restoration workshop. You should not compare this to contractor or residential quality tools. It is designed for precision work with a corresponding price. However, you will need the rail guide to get the full benefit of the saw. The cost is offset by the ease of use and accuracy of the cuts. I find it so useful I am considering purchasing one for my home workshop.

Fantastic cut quality with the stock blade and good dust collection. Dust collection can be further improved by covering the blade-change hole in the side cover with a piece of tape. The dust port swivels to allow the hose to be routed on either side of the tool, or follow behind. Would buy again!

It has great features and is easy to use. I deducted one star because of the users manual. The manual is small and the diagrams are too small to see detail. Instructions provided are sufficient but poorly organized. This was my first experience with the “soft start” feature. It seems the time lag between when you press the two start controls and when the saw starts is too long and inconsistent.
