I think the other reviewers are all reviewing the wrong set, this particular Makita set is different from the smaller one by a few bits, I have bought the one that snaps and breaks all the time, this isn’t the same set. This set is also mimicked at another store by a different name, (starts with a “K” and also is blue). Both manufactured by the same subs I think, both good. The slightly smaller set like this one is the one with shotty molds. This set is fine, or at least the set I bought is fine, especially the long screwdriving bits and the hex drill bits. If you’re drilling through metal with these make sure you have it in slower speed, they are sharp.

I use this handy assortment of bits for all kinds of homeowner, remodeling, woodworking tasks.So far after months of use all have held up well.I don’t think this assortment is industrial grade, but they work great for me and I use my tools pretty hard doing all kinds of projects. From making window boxes, to drilling for new water supply lines and putting concrete anchors into a garage wall with the socket bits, not one has broken on me.The 1/4″ hex shank fits all drills and quarter inch impact drivers securely.The case is very very handy, tough, and keeps everything I most commonly use at my finger tips without letting them fall out and scatter all over.I’ll gladly but this set again if they ever wear out on me.

I bought this to get myself some more bits for my impact driver. Bits are good as expected, but the case they come in makes worth it for me. The ease the case provides to remove and put back the bits compared to the other cases I have is literally night and day. If they sold it without the bits I’d buy it. Can’t lose either way and I would purchase it again.
