Works well for 12volts.

I don’t own very many Makita tools but the ones I have been great. The very first cordless I ever owned was a 7.2 volt drill. Then I moved up to the 12 volt that had a really long handle where the battery was’ They both lasted years. This one I’m sure will too. It’s light weight compact and has a lot of power. I was removing some bolts that have been on for 20 years, it took them off with no effort at all. I was using it for at least 2 hours and the battery was still full. I highly recommend it.

This is my first-ever Makita tool and it certainly did not disappoint. The drill is very light and compact so I found it ideal for working in tight/overhead space. It has a great feel on the hand. Battery life is great as well. It is surprisingly powerful for its smaller size. The battery light indicator is very useful and so is the built-in LED light to illuminate the work area. I just hope its motor will be comparable in durability to a brushless one.

Great tool, lightweight and has the power to remove most screws and bolts and reinstall them with the required tightness. I carry it with me all of the time in my tool bag so you can tell it is compact enough to have readily available . Great for use around the home and has a battery that lasts around 10-12 hours under normal use. I would highly recommend this product.

Keeping in mind this is a 3/8 inch cordless tool, not a pneumatic tool, I have to give it some prettyst use was about an hour high marks. Handy little devil? oh ya. Light weight and easy to use. My first use was to buzz off a small trailer wheel, no issue! So I moved up to my K20 Chevy pickup truck, still not a problem. The torque rating on this is probably pretty close. Charging time for the first use was about an hour. Simple to use, compact, easy to take out in the field. Got my vote.

Nice and lightweight, feels like a toy. I prefer a ratchet in my hands but when production is down and there are 30+ bolts to remove, I grab this baby. Built rugged for tough environments.

This is the best drill ever

This is a good charger and battery but of course it is too early to tell. Even a Chevrolet will last two weeks.

Lightweight and compact.

My last 12v makita battery lasted 6 years of daily use. This one lasts a good amount of time and is lighter then the 4ah ones which keeps the drill weight down.

As a contractor, I typically chose cordless tools that have the maximum power / capabilities available, and hesitate to buy anything but brushless at this point. I really wasn’t expecting a lot from this small, brushed 3/8″ impact wrench, but was pleasantly surprised.Unit has a stated “breakaway” torque of 200 ft-lbs. As tiny as it is, I really expected that number to be obviously-exaggerated. I have no way to measure that scientifically, but putting it to use alongside my brushless 12v unit from another manufacturer, I’d guess that to be about right. Doing a full brake job on my wife’s compact SUV, I found it more than capable of removing the fasteners encountered. Was a total pleasure using it, it being so very light and compact. Now, I don’t purchase my cordless impacts with removing tires solely in mind, but I know a lot of folks do. It had no trouble removing the lug nuts on my wife’s vehicle – hammering on each for maybe 2 seconds before breaking it free. Granted, these were hand-torqued to 70 fl-lbs, and had been off fairly recently. It wouldn’t even think about doing the lug nuts on my truck – torqued to 120 ft-lbs, and having been on there through an entire winter, in our heavy-salt-use location. But for the average car owner, this is going to do most of what you’re probably ever going to ask of it.
