Worked very well right out of the box (with a little assembly). I am very pleased with the cutting power of this saw and using batteries I already own is a big plus.

This moves a lot of air, a lot more then my Makita gas blower. I like my gas blower but its getting old. I bought the cordless blower to do some of the work my gas blower was doing, I use the gas blower year around. I’ve had the cordless blower a couple of months. I have two sets of batteries, if you use this a lot you need extra batteries.

This product is easy to use, the narrow kerf allows the saw or perform better that expected on 10″ – 12″ dia. rounds. The saw does “quit” after a time and restarts when the trigger is released and re-applied. For smaller jobs this saw can allow you to complete a small job (after storm downed limbs etc.) in the time it takes to fuel and start a gas powered saw. The fact that the saw uses the same batteries as my other Makita battery powered tools is a plus.

Nice blower. The air intake can get blocked by user. It can be awkward to maintain holding it out and away from your body for long periods of time.

Relatively short battery on my existing small 3ah batteries. Otherwise exceeds expectations.

Works great like all Makita tools. Lasts about 35 minutes on high and much longer at lower speeds. I have oak trees and a pool and threw my rake away. Makita rocks!!

The Makita cordless blower is very light and easy to operate. The assembly and operation are very straight forward. It has 6 speed adjustments, and can be adjusted while in use. It does not come with batteries and charger. I would recommend the Makita cordless blower.

Excellent product, no electrical cord to deal with or having to mix gas and oil and keeping up with maintenance on an engine. Pending on size of yard/property you may want to invest in extra batteries.

The disappointing thing about this product is that on a full charge it only runs for 30 minutes and less

Right out of the box I cut 4 nice size trees up with the first set of batteries I put in it. Worked flawlessly , great to use.

Unbelievable, great, this is now my favorite go to chainsaw. It’s always ready go. No more messing around with gas canisters or worrying that it won’t start. It’s undoubtedly one of the best Makita tools I’ve purchased lately. Although it does help that I’m full outfitted with Makita batts already.

Works well and has lots of power. DOES NOT DRAIN THE BATTERY
Arthur Adams (verified owner) –
Works very well and it is very powerful. It is really convenient because it’s instant on with no cranking, gas, and smoke. It does go through batteries quickly so you will need to buy the larger batteries.

This blower is perfect for my 1/2 acre lot. My blower will last about 20 minutes using 2 5.0Ah batteries on setting 3. I have another set of 4.0Ah batteries and between the two sets, I can easily blow my front yard. The blower has a good adjustment dial. It has a high volume output that can really move leaves. It is far better than an older corded one I have that has high velocity but lower volume air movement. I am pleased with this tool. I have several Makita tools on the 18v platform and really find them to be well-built, reliable, lightweight, and powerful.

It does not seem to have the power that was advertised. My gas trimmer is rated just about the same as the one I purchase but the gas trimmer has a lot more power and air flow. With all that said it is very handy and easy to use, no smell. It’s still nice to use for the small stuff.

I looked and looked at cordless blowers, but many did not have enough power. I love this blower. Its works like a charm and I am so happy to no longer have to drag a corded blower around the yard. It is not as powerful as a corded blower but it does just fine. Big money but I feel it was money well spent

very impressive, powerful and quiet, then I discovered I didnt even have it on its highest setting
Larue Heaney (verified owner) –
Very handy and has great trigger control. I’m very happy with he purchase, after being hesitant to spent that kind of money. Expensive, but the quality is there and I’m very satisfied with the blower.
