Was easy to assembly and quality built. The weight is distributed nicely. Has lots of power and enough run time for most homeowners. I like the shape and location of the head. I’m 6 feet tall and the angle of head is great for edging. Quieter and no gas/oil to fuss with it. These cordless tools are making it very hard for a homeowner to not want one over a gas model. It’s just so much easier and less to worry about. Let’s see how it holds up over time.

This blower is perfect for my 1/2 acre lot. My blower will last about 20 minutes using 2 5.0Ah batteries on setting 3. I have another set of 4.0Ah batteries and between the two sets, I can easily blow my front yard. The blower has a good adjustment dial. It has a high volume output that can really move leaves. It is far better than an older corded one I have that has high velocity but lower volume air movement. I am pleased with this tool. I have several Makita tools on the 18v platform and really find them to be well-built, reliable, lightweight, and powerful.

The cordless makita blower has a lot of power and was easy to use,my wife even can use as it was not heavy.

Nice blower. The air intake can get blocked by user. It can be awkward to maintain holding it out and away from your body for long periods of time.

Would give it 5 stars but when it is on full power, it drains the battery really quickly. This is to be expected, I guess but we will see how it handles the leaves this fall and even light snow come this winter.

Works great like all Makita tools. Lasts about 35 minutes on high and much longer at lower speeds. I have oak trees and a pool and threw my rake away. Makita rocks!!

This moves a lot of air, a lot more then my Makita gas blower. I like my gas blower but its getting old. I bought the cordless blower to do some of the work my gas blower was doing, I use the gas blower year around. I’ve had the cordless blower a couple of months. I have two sets of batteries, if you use this a lot you need extra batteries.

Lightweight and quiet, as powerful as gas trimmers

Blower, batteries and charger are great. String trimmer is not for nice work around the home, it too hard to get fine trimming control, string advance hard to use, won’t advance string if not rotating and that wears out string advance button. would be great to keep acreage clear. It is pretty heavy also. It’s going back to HD.

The Makita cordless blower is very light and easy to operate. The assembly and operation are very straight forward. It has 6 speed adjustments, and can be adjusted while in use. It does not come with batteries and charger. I would recommend the Makita cordless blower.

Very nice to use!

Awesome! Very powerful, light and balanced. Nice to be able to choose from three speeds. Speed 1 is whisper quiet and handles light stuff just fine. Speed 2 is only a little noisier but handles 99% of my trimming needs. Speed 3 is a beast. Bought for home use (1 acre) and used 5ah batteries which provided plenty of run time plus enough left over to power my Makita x2 blower to neaten up afterwards. By far the best trimmer I’ve ever used (gas, electric or cordless), without any of the hassles. Highly recommend.
