After the $150 sticker shock for this battery subsided, I have been completely satisfied with its longevity while using it to drive deck screws. Lasted a solid 6 hours with continuous use and the charger had it ready to go again in roughly 30 minutes.Highly recommend!

Couldn’t recommend the 5.0 Ah batteries more. Although they are heavier- suck it up, it builds muscle ;). I love that I can count on the quick charge time and how long each battery lasts. Depending what tool, I can go 2-4 hours on one battery using constantly. I now have three of them and watch for deals. I couldn’t be happier.

I’ve used the 18V Die Grinder a few times and I’m very satisfied. It’s perfect for a quick job and plenty of power for my needs. If I have to do heavy, long duration work I’ll use a corded tool but this is quick and ready to go. A dial-set variable speed capability would have been nice.

Home Depot needs to carry the 5A Battery in their stores and not have to order off their website. This battery is so much better than the 3A Batteries they carry in their stores. The physical size of the 3A, 4A & 5A are all the same. Given that fact, why not get the Battery that will last the longest.
