Makita is the innovation leader in brushless motor technology, and the 18-Volt LXT Brushless Impact Driver (XDT13Z, tool only) combines power and run-time for a full range of fastening tasks. The efficient Makita BL Brushless Motor is electronically controlled and engineered for longer run time, increased power and speed, and longer tool life. It’s part of Makita’s expanding 18-Volt lithium-ion series, the world’s largest cordless tool line-up powered by an 18-Volt lithium-ion slide-style battery. Makita 18-Volt Lithium-Ion batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger. The variable speed brushless motor delivers 0-3,400 RPM, 0-3,600 IPM, and up to 1,500 in. lbs. of max torque for efficient fastening. It has a compact design at 5 in. long and weighs only 3.3 lbs. (with battery) with an ergonomic soft grip for user comfort. The LED light illuminates the job area for applications in dark spaces. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls. This promotional sku also includes an XPH07Z 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 1/2 In. Amazing impact driver has delivered and performed to every task I have asked of it.However I realized why people love makita is that the tools are very well thought out, from the dual LED, ergonomic handle, battery indicator, speed of charge , ability to turn on light with out turning drill. Beast mode

Top of the line dill. It has all the power and speed you could need. It’s much heavier than a standard drill because it’s built using a lot more metal components including the chuck

This does exactly what I expected it to, and I love it.

Fantastic tool, very powerful, not too heavy, excellent for demo work. I’m invested in the whole Makita cordless system and have zero complaints so far.

Do not buy the compact black Makita impact if you’re going to use it for work. It does not last and will burn out on you. I bought one and it burnt out on me three or four times. So far this one is a much more durable impact.

A little overpriced but all around a great tool. I like all of Makita’s tools and have alot of them. I do remodeling and I use them daily.

I’ve been using it to dismantle 1/16” stainless tubing with carbide blades and it just eats. Also used to to turn a geo metro into a convertible and the geo stood no chance. This saw was a great buy.
