Drill is compact yet powerful, for those hard to reach places. Speed control could be a little better, LED casts a shadow on your work. 2.0 AHr battery life is about right. Very happy with my purchase so far.

Lightweight, easy to use. Drawback, do not use this drill for something that requires an impact drill (lag bolts, mechanical). This drill is for light duty, personal use. The clutches will break if used in commercial use.

This drill is light and smaller than my other 18V Makita drills. Easy to use in tight spaces.

Only had the drill set for 3 weeks, these Little guys performs like the big boys. Great investment if your looking for performance in a small size, light weight drill.

Remodeling an old staple with full saw cut oak for studs and posts. Installing electrical and needed a drill to run electric wire for lights and fans. The oak wood didn’t phase the drill even with a 3/4″ wood bit. The 3hr volt amp battery lasted longer than I thought possible. The chuck is easy to adjust so using different bits is a snap. The tool has become my favorite using it for electrical, plumbing, and hanging dry wall.

Great drill and nice weight! I purchased it to replace a 2013 Makita 18v LXFD01 drill that has a bad gear box. Sadly the battery styles are slightly different, so I decided to repair the old drill by buying a 20$ replacement gear box and return the new drill.

Fantastic drill. Plenty of power, with all the features you expect from a cordless (non-hammer/impact) drill, plus it’s incredibly comfortable to use one-handed due to the light weight. With the case, charger, and two batteries included, it’s perfect for basic DIY house/shopwork.

I haven’t put it to serious test at work yet, but at home it’s already proven itself… powerful for something so wonderfully compact, so far it seems to be a great value for the money. Safe to say size doesn’t always matter (-;
